Portable Seal Guard  

The portable seal guard prevents unauthorized seal tampering on trailers and containers. The lock cover is easy to install and a simple solution to the problem of unauthorized removal.

The rectangular sleeve and pin slides up through the hasp to protect the back and sides of the seal. The stainless steel cover slips over the base and is padlocked to ensure the driver is in complete control of the access to the cargo seal during each delivery.

The Seal Guard 5850-C includes an ABLOY padlock. The padlock uses a series of disc tumblers that function like the tumblers in a bank safe. Only the correct key turned 90 degrees will align the discs and gates. The key can only be removed by reversing it to a stop that automatically rescrambles the discs.

The seal guards are mostly used by Groceries/Food and Pharmaceuticals. The purpose is to guarantee that the container has not been breached. It proves the contents have not been contaminated. The receivers should refuse delivery if the seal has been broken or is not securing the doors.

The Portable Seal Guard do not use the Clicker Bolt Seals. They can only use the Metal, Cable, and Plastic Security Seals. The Permanent Mount Seal Guard can use all 4 types of seals, including the Bolt Security Seals.

Keying to Previous Order: To Key your lock order to the same as your previous lock order, you must choose Keyed Alike and write, "Please Key to Previous Order RC########" (where ######## is your 8 digit sales Order Number) in the Customer Msg box. We will try to check that your keying instructions are correct, but this is only a courtesy. You are still responsible. DO NOT USE YOUR KEY CODE.
