RoadTrucker's Return Policy Save your box, as any Returned item MUST be in the original box and EVERYTHING MUST be Included, or your Return will be Rejected by some Manufacturers. Note: The term Restocking Fee, as used by RoadTrucker® includes several Cost associated with a Return. i.e. Credit Card fees, vendor restocking fees charged to RoadTrucker®, etc. All Request for an RA (Return Authorization, Must be documented via Email, with a brief description of the reason for the return. You are welcome to call to check if we received it, if you do not get a reply back by the following morning. We normally reply within the hour or by the end of the day, at the latest. Please do not call our presales line for a return. We have a support team that needs to pull your records and FAX for the RA. Please have respect for our Return Process. We send every customer an email asking them to "SAVE" it, so they can reply back to us with any issue they may have. We are an online business and work hard to provide services that many other stores do not. If your computer is down, ask a friend to send us an email, or stop at an internet store or library or any of the free wireless hotspots. Products That Cannot be Returned to RoadTrucker®: There are No Returns for Galaxy 10 Meter Radios, nor No Returns for Vu Qube Portable Satellite Antenna. Galaxy Radio and King Controls (Wallace Technologies) test each product and want all issues referred to them directly, so you Must Contact the Manufacturer and Not RoadTrucker®. There are No Returns for Open Electronics (GPS, TrackStick, TireStat, Visionstat, Sensestat, etc) Does not include Electrical items like TV/DVD players, which can be returned within 30 days from date of purchase. Note: For those purchasing a Truck GPS, we will wave the No Return Policy on open electronics, for a Limited Return period of 14 days from purchase or 5 days from delivery with a 15% restocking fee, regardless of the reason for the return. This applies to the Teletype, Cobra, Rand McNally, Garmin & PC*Miler GPS & CoPilot Truck GPS ONLY. There are No Returns for 12 Volt Heaters, nor No Returns for 12 Volt Electric Blankets. There are No Returns on any Engel Fridge/Freezer, once you put any food or beverage in them. Straight Returns Where You Received Free Shipping: On items returned that included Free Ground Shipping or Free or Partial Free Freight, we will refund your money less the Amount it Cost to ship it to you and a 15% Restocking fee. Please Note: This Amount can be 2 times what we charged you for freight on large items. For Cobra, Rand McNally, Garmin, PC*Miler, TeleType & Co-Pilot GPS, it is a flat $15. For Logbooks, it is a flat $25 per box. For the Vu Qube it is a flat $35. For the larger 12-Volt Engel Fridge Freezers, it can be as high as $200 if you live in Washington or California. Please note: Packages refused, or undeliverable are returns. Cancelled Orders: Any order cancelled before the credit card is charged will NOT incur a fee, however, once your card has been charged, there will be a 10% fee to cover the Cost of Processing. Any order cancelled after it has shipped will be charged a 15% restock/processing fee. Almost all distributors charge a 15% restocking. Shipping Refunds: In general, we do not refund shipping cost. Shipping is equivalent to the cost of driving to and from your local store and you do not ask them to refund your gas, oil and vehicle wear and tear. There are exception, where we will pay for Ground Shipping ONLY. Under no circumstances will we refund you for convenience shipping (Overnight, 2-day, 3-day, etc). If you decide to convenience ship (other than ground), you do it at your own risk. Even if the item is faulty or not the correct item, we will only be responsible for Ground shipping. The exceptions are as follows: If we or one of our distributors sends you the wrong item, you have 14 days to let us know and we will send you a prepaid shipping document, so that you can conveniently send it back. If you receive a damage product and you contact us within 10 days of your order or 7 days of delivery, we will send you a prepaid shipping document, so that you can conveniently send it back. Any time after the 10 day period, it will have to com back as a warranty repair or exchange.

As stated above, electronics have a 14 day Refund Policy provided the package is unopened and 90-days for our Exchange Policy for Opened Packages. After this initial period, you may still have a Manufacturer's Warrantee. For example Galaxy has a 2-year Warrantee and King Controls has a 1 Year Parts & Year Labor Warrantee. Please Note: Everyone looses on a return, so please be responsible for your decision to order. When a product is returned, there are several costs involved, which are an unfortunate side effect of ordering online (or anywhere for that matter). Credit card processing alone can account for 4% or more for the original charge and another 4% for the refund; shipping the product to the customer and another shipping charge to send it back; and in addition most manufacturers and distributors charges a 15% Restocking fee. On a $100 item that amounts to about $23 Plus the cost of shipping the item twice. If shipping is $12, the total cost would be $47 or 47% of the order (almost 1/2). You can see why it is beneficial to make sure you are ordering the correct item that you want. Unfortunately a return cannot be avoided when there are problems. Think of Shipping as the Equivalent of Driving To and From the Store. You save on Gas, Oil and Wear & Tear on Your Vehicle, not to mention an Hour or so of your driving time and another 1/2 hour (or Hour) standing in the Return Line.
